Kuwait Airways will resume flights from Sunday, April 26, 2026, following the reopening of the country’s airspace after nearly two months of suspension due to the regional conflict .
The national carrier will resume operations to 17 destinations as part of the first phase, using Terminal 4 at Kuwait International Airport .

The initial network includes :
- Three weekly flights: London, Riyadh, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi and Manila.
- Daily flight: Cairo.
- Four weekly flights: Jeddah and Dhaka.
- Two weekly flights: Beirut, Damascus and Lahore.
- Weekly flights: Istanbul, Guangzhou and Colombo.
Low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways will also resume flights on Sunday, initially serving nine destinations including Istanbul, Beirut, Dubai, Cairo, Amman, Kochi, Mumbai and Delhi .
The resumption follows the official reopening of Kuwait’s airspace on Thursday, April 23, after a “temporary and precautionary” closure imposed on February 28 due to the escalation of hostilities . The reopening is part of a phased plan to restore full operations, with authorities confirming that all services will operate under enhanced safety measures .
