Reflecto News exists to report what happened, clearly and fairly. This page explains how we choose stories, how we check them, and the standards every article on reflectonews.com is expected to meet.
How stories are selected: we cover world news that matters to a general reader — major international events, public-interest developments, and stories with clear, verifiable facts behind them. We do not publish rumours, speculation presented as fact, or material we cannot trace to a credible source.
Verification and sourcing: facts in our reporting are checked against reputable sources before publication — established international news agencies and outlets, official statements and records, and recognised subject-matter authorities. Where a claim comes from a specific source, we attribute it (“according to…”) so you can judge its weight yourself. Developing stories are updated as confirmed information replaces early reports.
Neutrality: our news reporting is neutral. We do not take sides for or against any political party, government, or institution, and our news articles report events without campaigning language, loaded adjectives, or calls to action. Reporting describes; it does not argue.
News and opinion: news and opinion are kept separate. Articles that express a viewpoint are clearly labelled as opinion or analysis, and opinions expressed there are the writer’s, presented as such — they are never disguised as straight news reporting.
How our content is produced: Reflecto News uses modern newsroom tools, including AI-assisted drafting and editing tools, in preparing some articles. Every published story is held to the same verification and neutrality standards described above regardless of the tools used to prepare it, and factual claims are attributed to the reputable sources they come from. Automation never publishes unchecked claims as fact.
Mistakes happen — and we fix them openly. If you spot an error in any article, our Corrections Policy (see the Corrections Policy page) explains how to report it and what we do next.
