Iran’s Security Committee Spokesman Rejects Talks, Calls Trump’s Claims “Lies”

A senior Iranian parliamentary official has sharply dismissed recent statements attributed to U.S. President Donald Trump, signaling continued diplomatic deadlock between Tehran and Washington amid rising regional tensions.

Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for Iran’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, reportedly said that Trump is “lying or talking nonsense,” while also ruling out the possibility of negotiations with the United States.
