Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters more than speed. If we publish something wrong on Reflecto News, we want to know — and we correct it openly rather than quietly rewriting history.

How to report an error: email contact@reflectonews.com with the subject line “Correction”, the article’s URL, and a clear description of what is wrong (a wrong name, date, figure, or quote, for example). If you have a reliable source for the correct information — an official record, the original statement, a reputable report — include a link to it; it speeds up the check considerably.

What happens next: we review every correction report and check the claim against our sources. We aim to complete that review within a few business days of receiving your email. If the report is right, we correct the article.

How corrections are shown: corrected articles carry a visible correction note on the article itself stating what was changed and when, so readers can see exactly what was fixed. We do not silently alter material facts. If an error is minor and purely typographical, it may be fixed without a note; anything that changes a fact, figure, name, or meaning gets a note.

If we got it right: sometimes a report turns out to be a disagreement rather than an error. If we review your report and the article stands, we will explain why when we reply.
